Yashoda Medicity Launches AI-Powered E-ICU

CSR initiative inaugurated by Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda aims to strengthen critical care access through real-time AI monitoring and specialist oversight

Ghaziabad: In a significant push towards technology-driven healthcare, Yashoda Medicity has launched an AI-Enabled E-ICU Command Centre in collaboration with MMG District Hospital, marking a major step in expanding access to advanced critical care in district-level facilities.

Shri J. P. Nadda, Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare

The initiative, rolled out under the CSR arm Yashoda Foundations, was inaugurated by J. P. Nadda, Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare and Chemicals & Fertilizers, in the presence of senior hospital leadership and medical professionals.

The AI-powered Command Centre, based at Yashoda Medicity, is digitally connected to the ICU at MMG District Hospital. The system leverages artificial intelligence-supported monitoring tools to analyse real-time patient data and generate early warnings of clinical deterioration. This structured remote supervision enables proactive interventions, protocol-driven care and coordinated decision-making for critically ill patients.

By integrating hospital information systems and bedside monitoring devices into a single dashboard, the platform consolidates vast volumes of patient data for centralized oversight. An embedded AI engine supports risk stratification and intelligent alert escalation, assisting clinicians in making faster, evidence-based decisions while optimising resources and lowering the cost of care.

A dedicated super-specialty critical care team at Yashoda Medicity will provide round-the-clock monitoring and timely guidance, aligning treatment with global best practices. Hospital officials said the integration is expected to bring measurable improvements in patient outcomes while making high-quality intensive care more accessible to economically weaker sections.

Beyond patient monitoring, the project also focuses on capacity building. It facilitates structured knowledge-sharing, protocol standardisation and skill enhancement for on-ground medical teams at the district hospital.

Describing the initiative as a model for strengthening healthcare infrastructure, Nadda said innovative technology platforms such as the AI-enabled E-ICU can transform patient outcomes. He added that the CSR effort would ensure continuous expert oversight and remote guidance for critically ill patients, while encouraging private institutions to contribute meaningfully to public healthcare systems.

Dr. P.N. Arora, Chairman and Managing Director of Yashoda Group of Hospitals

Dr. P.N. Arora, Chairman and Managing Director of Yashoda Group of Hospitals, said the Command Centre reflects the group’s vision of making world-class healthcare accessible to every patient. “By combining intelligent monitoring, real-time data analysis and expert clinical oversight, we are extending the reach of intensive care beyond our hospital walls,” he said.

Shubhang Arora, Executive Director of the group, described the initiative as a scalable, technology-led solution designed to strengthen critical care standards across connected hospitals.
